This product was developed for use in competition conditions, as it does not contain Valerian.  It contains different herbs and is more useful for particularly sensitive horses and those that are prone to profuse sweating, worry about travelling or need more reassurance than other horses.

The VF formula takes longer to work than the other formulas in this range, as it doesn’t contain Valerian so will therefore not have such a fast acting calming effect.  For best results start dosing your horse 5-7 days prior to the stress period.  Some people have found that giving their horse a maintenance dose everyday gives the best result.

NB: AS EQUICALM VF DOES NOT CONTAIN VALERIAN IT IS SAFE TO USE FOR COMPETITION.
